Born in 1983 in Novi Sad, Serbia
Begun attending the Art Academy at the University of Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 2004, received first professional engagement during the third year at the Academy in the big-budget Serbian movie “St. George Shoots the Dragon”, directed by Srđan Dragojević. The same year she realized her first theater roles in the National Theater of Republika Srpska (NPRS, Narodno pozorište Republike Srpske) in the play Donkey Years (Magareće godine), written by Branko Ćopić and directed by Nemanja Petronje, and the acclaimed roles of The Twin in the play “Home!...” (Kući!...), written by Ljudmila Razumovska and the Daughter of Omer-Paša Latas in the play Omer-Paša Latas, written by Ivo Andrić, which won her the Best Young Actress award at the Theater Meetings of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Pozorišni susreti BiH) in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2007.
Graduated in 2008 with the monodrama “Lilika” by Dragoslav Mihailović in the class of doc. Željko Mitrović as The Student of the Generation 2007/2008 of the Art Academy of the University of Banja Luka. The monodrama later featured in the regular repertoire of the “UK Vuk Karadžić” in Belgrade.
After the Academy she returned to Serbia where she worked as a freelance actress in several plays in the Kruševac City Theater in Kruševac, Theater 34 in Novi Sad, UK Vuk Karadžić in Belgrade, and in the independent production play “Time of the Gypsies” directed by Emir Kusturica.
Appeared in several student movies, commercials and feature length movies “Ginger – More than a Game”, directed by Gordan Matić and “In Secret”, directed by Charlie Stratton, produced by Entertainment, Exclusive Media Group and Pioneer Pictures.
Also working on the synchronization of cartoons for the Nickelodeon channel in Serbian Language, including “Legend of Korra” – the voice of Korra, “Kung Fu Panda” the voice of the Viper, “Life with Boys” – the voice of Tess.
Since 2009 Verica has been a member of the Serbian Actors’ Association (Udruženje dramskih umetnika Srbije - UDUS), she officially received the status of a freelance artist on January 1 2013.
Currently working in Vanja Ejdus' Drama Studio for children as an Assistant Teacher.
